Riding The Surfboard

NorhTec is a company that specializes in unique computers, sort of an Apple for those of us without a ton of disposable income.  They allow you to get their machines with either Linux or Windows.

Recently, NorhTec came up with a SoC (System On A Chip).  They have put it inside a computer keyboard and called it the Surfboard.  The results will remind anyone who had a Vic 20 or Commodore 64.  The entire computer is in the keyboard (it pulls 5 watts.  The C64 pulled 10).  512M of memory, 1G CPU, composite video out.

Linux based Surfboard?  $99

Windows XP Surfboard?  $149
