It's The Great IQ Drop, Charlie Brown!

I'm no fan of Barack Obama, but for Christ's sake, people!

Obama gave a speech about Afghanistan. Naturally, since he's the President, the TV networks pre-empted their programming to show the speech because it's, you know, news and stuff. This meant that any programs airing didn't air. And that includes "A Charlie Brown Christmas". Arlington, Tennessee has a mayor, Russell Wiseman. He apparently wrote on his Facebook page that Obama timed his speech specifically to prevent "A Charlie Brown Christmas from running. According to The Commercial Appeal, he wrote, "We sit the kids down to watch 'The Charlie Brown Christmas Special' and our muslim president {HE'S A CHRISTIAN, GODDAMMIT! CAN'T YOU STUPID IDIOTS GET THAT MUCH RIGHT?!?} is there, what a load. ... Try to convince me that wasn't done on purpose."

If Obama is going to pre-empt programming on purpose, can he please pre-empt the 2009 The Prisoner instead?
