I Still Have Too Much Fun With My Characters

You know how Marvel has their What If stories that posit alternate versions and realities of their characters without being bogged down by continuity?

You know how DC has Elseworlds, that lets people tell stories about alternate versions of the characters without being bogged down by continuity?

I know, sounds like their regular titles, too!  Thank you, I'll be here all week!

Well, yesterday, while taking a break from working on the Sound Waves Christmas Special, an idea hit me.  One that I can't shake.  I have to do this.  This is the bright side to self-publishing -- you can get some dopey, fun idea, and you don't have to run it past editorial if you want to do it.

I'm going to do a story with Rhapsody and Melody as super spies.

Doesn't fit in continuity, not overly serious, either (it is Sound Waves, after all), but the more I think about it, the more I think it can work as a bit of fun.

So, sometime next year, watch for Sound Waves -- How Spy I Am.  Hey, it can't possibly be worse that Totally Spies....
