Uh, Oh! Speed's In Trouble!

I resisted the urge to do a flourish out of Death Note.

All four scripts for Quantum Redshift?  Done!

Seven sequential pages of art?  Done!

Cover for the first issue?  Done!

That last page and the cover took more work than I thought for some reason.  I don't know why.  I got half of the page done yesterday, and was having trouble getting motivated to do the rest.  The mark of a pro is to get the job done, not to just work when the spirit moves you.  Since my art is cartoony, I reached for something cartoony to play on the TV.  Hello!  It's my Tex Avery Perfect Collection!  I was soon doing my drawings and getting the job done.

Tomorrow, a little sidestep so I can do the Stress Puppy strip.  Then I scan in all eight pieces.  From there, I begin cleaning up, lettering, and coloring.  Oh, and sorting through my freeware fonts for something I can use for the title.  A little more concept art might also be a good idea.  I'm going to save the pages in both black and white and color.  Ape says no, I'll publish myself.  But, because of my bias towards black and white, I want to at least have the option of it.  Don't know if I will or if I'll just color the whole thing, but I'll think about it.

But now?  Time to hit the sack.
