Hey, kids! Do you like seeing horrible condescending stereotypes of women on TV, but with TV shows going politically correct because they are afraid of losing viewers, you don't know where to turn for your misogynist kicks? Well, you're not alone! A lot of people enjoy seeing women portrayed as shallow, vapid bitches. The people who make reality TV are sensitive to your plight. But so many of their shows showing dumb blondes (Newlyweds), scheming black women (The Apprentice), more dumb blondes (The Anna Nicole Show), more scheming women (Crowned), still more dumb blondes (The Simple Life), women with no self-respect ready to compete for a husband just because he's rich (The Bachelor, Who Wants To Marry A Multimillionaire?), and all the dumb blondes you can possibly want (The Hills), have gone off the air. If you want to see negative portrayals of women and are tired of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, what can you do?
Well, you can tune in to E! on November 28, that's what! They have a brand new show coming called Bridalplasty! Rules for Bridalplasty very simple. Twelve engaged women will compete in weekly challenges involving planning a wedding. Each episode features one bride-to-be voted off the show, and the winner for the week gets to have one of teh nip/tucks on her "wish list" done. The ultimate winner gets a total plastic surgery makeover and a wedding "for the stars." The groom gets some of the excitement, too -- he won't see his bride's redone face until he lifts the veil at their wedding!
