Writer's Block: Time after time

If you fall in love with a book or movie, do you tend to watch/read it again and again? If so, what's your upper limit on repeats?

Oh, God, yes.  I can't tell you how many times I've seen or read favorites that deliver the goods.  But the biggest example is music.  If I listen to a CD and find a track I like, I will replay it nearly constantly in one sitting, like I'm trying to commit it to my memory ("Dekc" by Brothomstates, I listened to once for the entire day at work.  Thank God I was the only one in my office at the time).  And I frequently won't advance past that one song until I've got it down sufficiently.  I have some CD's that I bought years ago that I still haven't listened to all of (it took me about a year and a half to listen to all of Bruce Hornsby's "The Way It Is," and I bought that the month it came out, for example).

It has driven some of my girlfriends crazy.  Headphones are a blessing.
