Josh Blaylock was the founder of Chicago-area Devil's Due Publishing. The company started developing a rep for not paying the creators of the books while shelling out for booth babes with "Team Blaylock" T-shirts and other such things. Blaylock also got into a war with Diamond Distributors about how they handle payments. The creator of Hack/Slash, the biggest and most consistent seller without outlandish licensing fees, jumped to Image. Blaylock has sold most of the DDP properties to Arcana Press.
Blaylock is now back with a "tell-it-like-it-is" blog. The first installment talks about the upcoming price drop for comics and takes a swipe at Diamond.
