All That And A Bag Of Chips

Today, I'm getting ready to go out.  Pull on my pants, and tighten my belt.

Something felt odd.

I checked.

My belt is actually tightening in one notch.

You have to keep in mind, in my previous position, the belt was on it's last notch and I thought I'd have to buy not only a bigger one, but go up a size in pants.  At my age, that's not something you want to happen, especially when Type II diabetes (weight related) runs in your family.

Now, I have proof positive that my weight is going in the opposite direction.

I start thinking.  I have a pair of beige khakis that I haven't worn in a long time because, as the weight came on, they fit too tight and I didn't want them to split.  So I pulled them out.

They fit just fine now.

So, here's a picture of me in my slightly slimmed down (and, hopefully, eventually more slimmed down) splendor....
