Well, yeah. I hope so. Sheen hasn't been this entertaining since he made the Hot Shots movies.
Here's that double standard I mentioned the other day. The press give this kind of fawning attention to all kinds of female attention whores. Paris Hilton, the Kardashians (I actually heard two women at work arguing about what was going on with one of their love lives. Apparently, the TV show says one of them is dating someone, and a tabloid says she's dating someone else), all of them. The only difference here is the target is not only male, but he's a lot less subtle. Hilton still downplays some of her escapades and talks about being a role model and making a difference. Sheen flat out believes he's already a great role model. Whether we should applaud Hilton's relative restraint or Sheen's honesty, I leave for the reader to decide.
Now, unlike the media that sees Sheen as great for bringing in viewers, and hence, revenue, I am free to criticize him for being a dick. Am I contributing to the problem? I don't think so. After all, this is everywhere. I can't turn on the radio without hearing about the exclusive 20/20 interview tonight or see the latest from the production company thinking of hiring replacements or whatever. So me keeping quiet isn't going to change anything. So I might as well laugh about it.
And I guara-fucking-tee you that Hilton and them are taking notes....
