Speaking Of Drawing Women In Comics

I've mentioned before that part of my problem with drawing comic art is my awareness of the human body and its limitations.  I don't push the boundaries because it doesn't feel honest.  Also, I spend a lot of time agonizing over my layouts and placements so that people looking at the page have no trouble following what's happening.

This second image isn't a cover, it is page 3 of issue #1.  I just keep staring at it, trying to make sense of it.  I mean, for a woman in such a rush she can't finish putting on her costume but to be so at peace, and with a cat-o-nine-tails longer than can be effectively wielded and...you know what?  Just forget it.
