It's been a horrible, horrible weekend.  Murphy was after me with a vengeance.  So I need something to cheer me up and make me happy.

And that means....

PONIES!!!

So, here's the first new Doctor Whooves sketch, showing the inside of the TARDIS.

Anyone who says this isn't a TARDIS control room doesn't know their Who.  (Psst!  Hey, Mornblade!  My teacher recognized it right away.  Do you?  Pressure's on, dude.)

Here's the next one, featuring a Dalek.

Next one, inspired by us seeing the TARDIS actually flying through the air.  I call it Free Flight.

And lastly, this one, called Swamp Gassers.  And yes, that is supposed to be the 52 Woman on the left there.  She's popping up everywhere else....

What do you think, sirs?

I haven't seen any classic Who, so I don't know which TARDIS control room that is. I suck. :P

But you DO NOT suck! These are awesome!!! I especially like the Doctor's angry expression as he wields his sonic screwdriver. They're just great! :D

Well, it depends on which Classic Who you watch. The control room I drew is based on the Peter Cushing Doctor. An American film studio tried making a couple of Doctor Who movies starring Peter Cushing (don't be surprised if you never heard of them, Cushing doesn't even mention them in his autobiography). The TARDIS was a single room bigger inside than outside instead of an entire ship, and there was no central column -- the TARDIS took off by pushing the flying yoke. YouTube has the entire first movie on it, and aside from a couple of differences here and there (Ian is a comic relief, Susan is much younger than her Brit counterpart), the storyline itself more or less follows the original Dalek serial from the 1960's (the Daleks had a different "origin story" than what you may be familiar with now). If you're curious and have some time to kill, give it a whirl.

The new cartoon is awesome. You really should give it a whirl, especially with the new season starting in ten days.

Hmmm....I didn't even recognize that about Derpy in the first picture. Oops.

That would be the 1.5st doctor's control room. Or rather, Peter Cushing. As Cushing's stories took place in a dimension alternate to the TV Series, Doctor Whooves can be somehow connected to a previously existing Doctor without too much risk of bouncing up against what is already canon. He can also potentially get away with a nearly identical adventure to that from the TV series (just like Cushing did).

Very good. I am reassured.
