Card Sharps

In preparation for my trip to Florida in a scant week and a half, I've been taking precautions, such as taking down computer towers and bill files and taking them to a secure location so that if, God forbid, someone gets into the house while I'm gone, nothing of value is acquired.

I also wanted to thing about getting another heavy memory card for my digital camera that I take with.  I was going to do that this weekend.

So I'm looking for one of my missing watches, the one with the mermaid on it (ironically, it isn't waterproof).  There is one drawer I haven't searched yet, a catch all for my portable games systems and such.  I found a shitload of SD cards.  I didn't realize I bought that many.  I don't even remember buying them, I had no use for SD cards until I got my Nintendo Wii, and I only bought one for it.  I have a few for my GP2X's, including two with music for when I'm using it as an MP3 player.  But I found two 8G's, a micro 8G, two 4G's, three 2G's, and a 16M.

Wait...there's four of them?!?  What the hell was I thinking when I got those?!?

A 32M, a 128M, and a 256M.  That last one, I remember, I created it as a Puppy Linux boot when I had the Cloudbook.  There's also a 16G for my GP2X with a ton of games on it.  Completely forgot about that.  So I just saved myself some time and money I can spend on pens.

So apparently, I need to clean more often than I realize.

Oh, and I found the watch.
