These things, too....

I keep telling myself that there was a time, not long ago, when there were tons of Guitar Hero and Rock Band games, and the sales weren't slowing and nobody thought the genre would ever die.

They're coming right at me!
Yes, "Catwomen", and notice "Supergirl's" emblem. I'm sensing some quesitonable legalities ...

"I'm sensing some questionable legalities..."

Not THAT questionable, and it's thanks to George Lucas.

There's a company that makes and distributes animated porn parodies. Their first "work" was Sailor And The 7 Ballz, a porn mash-up of Sailor Moon, Dragonball Z, and a bunch of other stuff (I couldn't watch all of it. One of the characters is Sakura Kinomoto from Cardcaptor Sakura. She appears with DD breasts, but the rest of the character is still depicted as her 10 year old self. I did NOT want to see that).

Anyway, riding high on the success of the movie, they made a second, Star Ballz. Lucas, of course, sued -- let anyone try anything with Star Wars without his permission and he will darken the sky with lawyers before you even know what's happening. The makers maintained that it was parody (Vader's helmet having mouse ears like Mickey Mouse, for example) and people know the difference. It made it to the Supreme Court a couple of years ago, and the Supes ruled in favor of the porn makers. The ruling, however, stretched the previous understandings of what constituted parody and what could be legally gotten away with. This started a deluge of titles from Hustler like "Not The Brady's" and "It's Not Baywatch". From there, it was only a hop, skip, and a jump to people seeing all the Rule 34 of comic characters and making this shit.

I don't ask for much for porn, but I do ask that it not make me feel cheap and used and embarrassed when it's over. Movies like these, there's no other reaction I can really have.

Yes, I'm afraid so. My favorite anime, pretty much the whole reason I'm doing Sound Waves, and they do this....

Parody is an art. And those guys ain't Art.

Re: They're coming right at me!
I've seen a few of those titles ... basically anything beginning with the word "not". I haven't watched porn in awhile: I can put up with bad lighting, editing and acting, but I couldn't take the "plot" anymore. Which isn't too different from how I'm beginning to feel about the Supreme Court.
