Holy crap, how do I get myself into these situations?!?

It wasn't all gloom and doom at Wizard World Chicago.  Joe Robinson Currie introduced me to a guy with a comic anthology magazine.  I showed him Sound Waves, Toob Raider, Head Above Water, and Stress Puppy.

He wants to see something from me to run in the mag.

He mentioned that, while most of the stuff skews older, he would love to see something his daughter could enjoy in there.

I told him I'd start working on it.

Contributions can be from 1 to 5 pages each.  It comes out quarterly, so were talking a page or two a month to hit deadline, which should be doable both with the overtime and once the overtime is done and I'm back to working on my projects.

So now I'm sorting through my stuff to see what could work and what won't.  I know I'll find something, it's just a question of what can be retooled for such short bursts.

One thing's for sure -- I'll burn out before I rust out.

You have GOT to tell me how to embed images in the comments like you do.

P.S. As I'm looking at that image, I have the theme from Hi Hi Puffy Amiyumi playing. It loops almost exactly with the measures of the song. The whole thing looks very silly in that context. Yowza!

Hahahaha! That is silly! I love it! XD

And as for posting a photo in a comment, it's no different than posting a photo in an entry. Straight up html, which I'm sure you know because you post a lot of photos in your entries. What's confusing you?

You tried it, huh? Between the speed of the song and the loop, it's just hilarious.

Actually, I just use the rich text wizard to do it. I admit I'm cheating. You don't think less of me, do you? Anyway, I tried to copy the HTML from an entry, and the comment had the HTML instead of the image.

Hahaha! No, I do not think less of you at all! XD

All you have to do is upload your photo to whichever hosting site you choose. (You can totally upload to LJ's Scrapbook. I *think* that's where all your other photos are stored already because of the rich text editor thingie.)

Then copy the following, replacing the url I have with the actual url of the photo.

Voila! Your photo should be posted! Hope that helped! I'm kind of terrible at explaining things to people. XD

So,what you are saying is... The next time we get to hang out may be C2E2 2013, and only if I buy a ticket, and only if you don't have other people at your booth begging for an autograph.

Well, I'm hoping it won't come to that. We should be seeing each other (hopefully) before that!

Although, I'll warn you this much, meeting every single week when my overtime is done and your Saturday duties are finished? Ain't happening anymore.
