-- Number 6
Okay, Victoria Jackson, you have spoken as a Christian.
Now it's my turn.
For those of you wondering why I'm so pissed, it's because Victoria Jackson made the following tweet following Mitt Romney's defeat:
"Thanks a lot Christians, for not showing up. You disgust me."
Gee, I had the same reaction to you defending Todd Akin and saying you would have the baby if you were raped so that you could turn the negative into a positive.
Understand this -- Christians did show up. I was one of them. There are lots of us. Lots of us who believe in freedom. In living in harmony with those who disagree or are different from us.
You are the minority. The proof is in how your "Christian" candidate (I put that in quotes because Obama is a Christian also, no matter what you and the tin foil hat brigade may think) lost. You have no right to claim to not only know God's will, but to tell us what it is and that we should do what you say that will is. Especially when you constantly violate God's own decrees to us, from love to understanding.
You do not control us. You do not speak for us. And when you are judged, you are going to be held accountable for the hatred and intolerance you tried to inspire in others.
Hatred is not God. You claiming it is is blasphemy. You are not worthy of being a Christian.
