Death By Degrees

ying_ko_4 pegged it.

Oh, fuck, did he peg it.

Part of what contributed to my extended absence last December was Newtown, CT.  I have been largely silent on the Sandy Hook Elementary massacre for a simple reason -- one of my best friends has a relative whose daughter was one of the kids murdered that day.  I saw the anguish.  As a result, the only aspect of the story I was comfortable discussing was the dipshit who maintains it was a media fabrication for political ends and never happened.

ying_ko_4 cautioned me that plenty of people would take the conspiracy theory very seriously.  And not only are people taking this seriously, but they are now harassing people they feel are complicit in the whole thing.

gene-rosen-gettyThis gentleman pictured here on the right is one Gene Rosen.  Rosen is a 69-year old retired psychologist who lives near Sandy Hook.  On December 14th, at about 9:30AM, he had fed his cats and looked to see six small children "sitting in a neat semi-circle" at the end of his driveway.  With them was a bus driver telling them things would be all right.  The six children were students of Victoria Soto, who was killed.  They fled the school, one of them telling Rosen, "We can't go back to school.  Our teacher is dead."

Rosen took the kids into his house, giving them toys and comforting them as he worked to contact their parents and let them know they were alive and okay.  Rosen was promptly hailed as a hero, although he spent most of his interview time praising the kids for being brave.

Feelgood story, right?

Well, now the nutballs are harassing him.  They've been calling him, emailing him, and making his life Hell, maintaining he's part of the conspiracy.  A representative message read, "How are all those little students doing?  You know, the ones that showed up at your house after the 'shooting'.  What is the going rate for getting involved in a gov't sponsored hoax anyway?"

Another post entitled, "Grieving Ton Grandfather, or Bad 'Crisis Actor'", chimes in with this:  "Gene's oft repeated, and changing, story about that day, focuses totally on the kids and the sound of gunshots.  Even though his eyes and ears should've taken in the whole scene, his story focuses completely on the kids and the guns.  Why?  Well if this was a false flag even designed to move political opinion on gun control, here in America, then you would get a lot more bang for your buck by talking about the innocent little children.  That's what tugs on America's heart strings the most...especially around Christmas time."

Everybody puke on 3!

"I don't know what to do," Rosen told in an interview.  "I'm getting hang-up calls, I'm getting some calls, I'm getting emails with, not direct threats, but accusations that I'm lying, that I'm a crisis actor, 'How much am I being paid?'"

Dear President Obama,

Before you pass any gun control legislation, can you pass a bill approving retroactive abortion rights?  It seems we need to clean up the gene pool a little bit.
