He likes to front that he's a big time Doctor Who nut, but considering he's holding the seventh Doctor's brolly incorrectly, I have my doubts. ;-)
Anyway, Doctor Who has been around for so long that people working in the industry now grew up with it, and Jackson is no exception. He discusses what it would take for him to direct an episode of Doctor Who --
"They don't even have to pay me. But I have got my eye on one of those nice new gold-colored Daleks. They must have a spare one (hint, hint)."
The BBC does auction off old props from their shows, and several Daleks have made it out into the wild this way. However, Jackson lives in Australia and is hip deep shooting the Hobbit movies, so he might not have an opening in his schedule to make it to such an event.
So, can the fans pool their money, buy one, and use that to get Jackson to direct an episode of Doctor Who?
Excuse me while I dream for a while....
