Status Report

Current status --

Unknown compiler bug is fixed.  Unlike EVERY OTHER PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE, batari BASIC doesn't read digital inputs as booleans.

Have incorporated all player controls except for starting the game.  No rapid fire or movement when the shot is launched.

Random number generation has been incorporated.

Animations for the builder and the thief have been incorporated.

Next objective --

Use the random number generator to determine if a builder or a thief is on the board, also the NPC's starting location.

As for what you are seeing above -- it's a game for the Atari 2600 that I am making. After all the bullshit with my sister, I decided I deserved to give myself a Christmas present. The game is a fangame based on the Tower Of Pimps (I'm not sure if you know what that is or not. If you don't, just ask, I'll give you a rundown). The arrow at the bottom is your shot, it slides left and right and, obviously, fires up. The Tower Of Pimps is there in the middle of the screen. The little guys zipping around are either builders (the ones in gold) or thieves (the ones in red). You have to protect the builders and shoot the thieves for four rounds in the least amount of time.

I am so looking forward to getting this done. I've always wanted to make my own Atari game, and now, I'm about to.
