And sometimes, it's just so damn funny.
So, Pornhub is getting upset with some of its users and saying they are violating the TOS by posting inappropriate content. You're probably thinking to yourself, "This is Pornhub. What could possibly be inappropriate for Pornhub?"
Well, you remember how the German national soccer team just blew Brazil out of the water in the World Cup earlier this week, right? For those that aren't into soccer, let me put things in perspective for you -- most teams don't score five points in two games. Germany scored five points in the first half. Final score was 7 to 1. The World Cup is being hosted in Brazil, and Brazil won its first game with some very questionable officiating, so questionable that everyone assumed they'd win it all. Instead, they have suffered their most crushing defeat on their home turf.
Everybody still with me so far? That's good!
Well, it seems that a bunch of Pornhub users are uploading video of the match and giving it titles like, "Young Brazilians get fucked by entire German soccer team." Oh, and they are posting the videos under the "humiliation" category. Even the humble end users are getting in on the act, leaving comments like, "Is this under 'gangbang' or 'amateurs?'" and "I thought Pornhub didn't allow rape."
Well, Pornhub is upset about this. They are begging users to stop uploading World Cup clips. Meaning Brazilians can't score there, either. (Oh, I'm such a bitch.)
The first time I saw this, I thought it was a joke. Usually, clean threads get ruined by people posting porn. This is the first time I've seen the reverse happen without me being actively involved myself (I once derailed a thread about which Evangeleon character people wanted to have sex with into everyone posting their favorite bits from Whose Line Is It Anyway? The results weren't this funny, though). It didn't help that the first website I saw reporting it was a sister site to The Onion. But it's spreading to other news servers who are checking it out and posting their own screen grabs and such, so I think its safe to say this is real.
