'Cause Every Girl's Crazy About A Sharp Dressed Man

I didn't think I did THAT great a job making my Starfleet uniform, but apparently, I did.

I wore it out today, to test it and make sure it wouldn't burst at the seams or anything.  And it held up very well. And people are impressed with the job I did.

Including my teacher, who is suggesting that I offer to make a Starfleet uniform for someone for Halloween.

Her logic?  I made something that can be reworn and reused.  It can be dry cleaned or washed at home, and it will last.  If you've seen what you get at Party City or on eBay, most of these things are only intended to be worn once or twice and then thrown out.

So, here's the gag -- I need to finish the lab coat to complete the look as a Starfleet medical officer.  So I need to hit the fabric store.  But if I can find the other colors, I will offer to make someone a Next Gen Starfleet uniform, $200 for an adult and $100 for a kid.  Within reason, I will require measurements to make sure it's something I can do.  I stopped at one store today, and they had nothing but the black.  But I will dig.  And if so, I will put my services out there.  No refunds, obviously.  And only in the US, it would never get to another country in time.

Further reports as developments warrant.
